     We are sorry to announce the closing of Your Other Kitchen after a wonderful six year experience of bringing the concept of meal assembly to the Midwest. We are very proud of the consistant quality of the meals, value and service we provided. It has been a lot of fun! Meeting all of our new friends and providing a convenient conduit for so many of you to help a friend or coworker in a time of need, are particularly rewarding.

     We are fortunate to leave while our situation is positive, unlike many others in many fields across the country. We thank you for this. Current and likely future economic climate and policy made the decision easier for us. We are liquidating the equipment, utensils, containers, remaining food and decor by auction.      Many of you have asked us to publish a freezer cookbook or provide recipes so that you could fix your faovorites as we only offered them once or twice a year. For our regular friends, our meals have been there as families have grown, becoming a tradition around the holidays, or expected during the summer grilling season. There is no reason to miss the great food you have been used to. You will have to prep and clean up for yourselves now, but it is the best we can do now. We are not familiar with publishing and would like to liquidate our recipes along with the rest of the kitchen. You may order your favorite recipes as little as five, or as many as our entire 345! The more you order the less expensive per recipe they are. The   Recipes  page is a list of all the names of our recipes. Just mail a check for the amount of recipes you want with a list of the recipes you have chosen and we will send you via mail the Microsoft Excel files on floppy disk with the recipe and instruction label both formatted for printing using Excel and Word.   Copy the files to your computer, save the disk as backup and you can use our recipes forever!
